Advanced Powder Coating Matting Agent & Matting Hardener
Description:
Introducing our next-generation Matting Agent, the definitive solution for manufacturers seeking premium low-gloss powder coatings. This additive is designed to provide superior matting efficiency while maintaining the physical integrity and durability of the coating film.
By optimizing the curing dynamics, our Matting Agent allows for the production of sophisticated matte surfaces that are resistant to scratching and marring. It is the ideal choice for applications where aesthetics meet performance, from architectural cladding to high-end furniture.
Why Choose Our Matting Agent?
Superior Efficiency: Achieve lower gloss with less additive, reducing overall formulation costs.
Enhanced Durability: Maintains chemical resistance and hardness of the standard coating.
Easy Processing: Free-flowing powder that extrudes and disperses effortlessly.
Indoor Physical Matting Agent
TX-6009 is a newly developed anti-yellowing matting agent, mainly used in hybrid systems. Based on the principle of a specially designed slight excess of epoxy that is completely cured, it does not cause yellowing of the coating film. It can produce a very low gloss finish, offers excellent mechanical properties, and results in a very fine, clear coating surface. This matting agent is designed to react with the entire system, providing excellent storage stability for the manufactured powder. It is an internally polymerized balanced matting agent, resulting in very good surface scratch resistance and hardness. This product is wax-free. In black systems, a gloss level as low as approximately 3 degrees can be achieved. TX-6009 matting agent is pre-mixed with other raw materials and participates in extrusion. The recommended dosage is 1-5% of the total formulation, with gloss decreasing as the dosage increases.
Appearance: White or light yellow powder

This product is packaged in paper-plastic composite bags, with a net weight of 25 kg per bag. Keep sealed and store in a cool, dry place. Keep away from heat sources, open flames, and direct sunlight. Based on our experience, the shelf life of this product is at least 24 months at storage temperatures below 30°C.
Outdoor Physical Matting Agent
It is compounded from acrylic resin and a catalyst. Suitable for polyester/TGIC powder coating systems. TX-109A has excellent and adjustable matting performance; a 6% addition can achieve a gloss of around 6 degrees (excellent storage stability, can be stored for six months at summer temperatures of 32°C without affecting leveling, gloss, or performance, superior to resin/GMA matting systems). Powder coatings made with TX-109A exhibit good UV resistance, excellent weather resistance, and a very fine, clear surface texture. TX-109A matting agent is pre-mixed with other raw materials and participates in extrusion. The dosage is 1-6% of the total powder coating formulation, with gloss decreasing as the dosage increases.

Matting Curing Agent
The TX-7001 series is a salt formed from cyclic amines and polybasic acids. It utilizes two different reaction rate groups within its molecular structure to create an uneven shrinkage during powder curing, forming a matte surface and achieving a matting effect, possessing both matting and curing functions. When applied in epoxy powder coatings, it produces a strong matting effect and excellent leveling properties, with stable overall performance. It can be used as a curing agent for epoxy or epoxy/polyester hybrid powder coatings, providing the coating with an ultra-matte surface, characterized by excellent mechanical properties and good reproducibility. Due to the high melting point of TX-7001, uniform dispersion in the formulation is important. Users can appropriately increase the extrusion temperature (not exceeding 110°C). When used in hybrid matte powder coatings, a polyester resin with a low acid value should be selected and determined through experimentation to achieve the desired gloss and optimal overall performance. Usage Ratio: The mass ratio of E-12 Epoxy Resin to TX-7001 is (8-10) : 1.
