Texture Agent / Surface Texturizer for Powder Coatings
Product Overview
Introducing our advanced Texture Agent, a high-performance powder coating additive specifically engineered to impart a decorative, textured finish to metal and heat-resistant substrates. Designed for formulators and coaters, this additive transforms standard smooth coatings into visually appealing, multi-dimensional surfaces that enhance both aesthetics and functionality.
Key Features & Benefits
Aesthetic Versatility: Achieve a wide range of textures, from fine wrinkles and matte velvety finishes to coarse sand-like or hammer tone effects, simply by adjusting the dosage.
Superior Hide & Coverage: The textured surface effectively conceals minor surface imperfections, weld lines, or substrate irregularities, reducing the need for extensive pre-treatment and minimizing reject rates.
Enhanced Durability: Textured finishes are inherently more resistant to scratches, abrasion, and mechanical wear compared to smooth surfaces, making them ideal for high-traffic or heavy-use items.
Consistency & Stability: Our agent ensures excellent batch-to-batch consistency. It is designed to be compatible with a broad range of resin systems, including Polyester, Epoxy, and Hybrid powders, providing stable flow and reproducible texture patterns.
Easy Integration: The additive is supplied as a free-flowing powder, allowing for easy dry-blending with your existing powder coating formulation during the extrusion or post-mixing process.
Application Areas
Ideal for a variety of industrial and architectural applications where durability and design meet:
Office Furniture & Shelving
Automotive Components (Wheels, Engine Parts)
Electrical Enclosures & Control Panels
Architectural Aluminum (Window Frames, Facades)
Garden Machinery & Tools
Consumer Goods & Appliances
Technical Profile
Our Texture Agent works by influencing the melt flow and surface tension of the coating during the curing cycle. This controlled interference creates the desired micro-peaks and valleys, resulting in a robust, non-slip, and aesthetically pleasing surface finish.
Elevate your powder coating line with a product that delivers both style and substance. Choose our Texture Agent for a flawless, textured finish that lasts.
Texturing Agent for Powder Coating
【Product Introduction & Performance】
TF-802 is a texturing agent containing acrylate resin components, suitable for various types of powder coatings to produce hammer or wrinkle effects. This product is added to the powder coating during manufacturing via the post-blending (dry-blend) method. It must not be pre-mixed with other formulation components and extruded, otherwise the desired textured effect cannot be achieved. The recommended addition level is 0.1% to 0.5% of the total powder weight, mixed thoroughly with the powder. The specific dosage should be determined empirically based on the desired texture effect.
【Technical Parameters】
Appearance: White powder
Softening Point (°C): 90 – 125
Solid Content (%): ≥ 99.0
【Packaging & Storage】
This product is packaged in paper-plastic composite bags, with a net weight of 25 kg per bag. Keep sealed and store in a cool, dry place. Keep away from heat sources and open flames, and avoid direct sunlight. Based on our experience, the shelf life of this product is at least 24 months when stored at temperatures below 30°C.
Sand Texture Agent for Powder Coating
【Product Introduction and Performance】
SA-11 Sand Texture Agent is a modified fluorine product used in various types of powder coatings to achieve a very fine artistic sand texture effect. This product can be applied to create artistic sand texture effects in all types of powder coatings. The recommended dosage is generally within the range of 0.1% to 0.5% of the total formulation, but the specific amount should be determined through testing. When using this product, bentonite can be appropriately added to adjust the sand texture effect and gloss. No special process is required when using this product; simply add it together with other materials in the formulation during the pre-mixing stage, then extrude at normal temperature. This product is silicone-free and non-polluting.
【Technical Parameters】
Appearance: White powder or flocculent solid
Melting Point (℃): >310
Solid Content (%): ≥99.0
【Packaging and Storage】
This product is packaged in composite paper drums, with a net weight of 25kg per drum. Please keep the container tightly sealed and store in a cool, dry place. Keep away from heat sources, open flames, and avoid direct sunlight. Based on our experience, the shelf life of this product is at least 24 months when stored at temperatures below 30°C.
Organic Bentonite for Powder Coating
【Product Introduction and Performance】
This product is a cationic rheological additive. When added to powder coatings, it increases the viscosity of the coating in the molten state and reduces its fluidity during melting. When used in textured powders, it can adjust the size of sand and wrinkle textures. When used in high-gloss or flat powders, it prevents sagging caused by excessive powder fluidity. It is suitable for various resin systems. It is added to various types of powder coatings and participates in the extrusion process, with the addition amount adjusted to above 0.2%. When used in wrinkle and smooth powders, the amount added should not be too large to avoid affecting the texture effect and leveling.
【Technical Parameters】
Appearance: White or light gray fine powder
Fineness (120 mesh): ≥95%
Loss on ignition (1000°C): ≤33.5%
Relative density: 1.5-1.7
